Annelise-
We use macromedia contribute here at Boston University. Some of our
subject specialists were quite adept at creating pages in HTML before we
got this product, others were fairly unfamiliar with creating web pages.
They are all able to create and maintain their research guides using
Contribute. We do ask that they attend a training session in Contribute
that our University IT department offers before we issue a key to them.
Also, we have a couple of more-savy folks with Dreamweaver who help out
those with Contribute if they run into problems. But the WYSIWYG interface
for Contribute is very user friendly. If your subject specialists can use
Word they can use Contribute (with a little training and hand holding).
