Hello all,
InfoToday has an article in the current (June) issue regarding anonymous
cards which use money, not personal identification, as collateral. The
article uses Cracker Barrel (where customers pay for audiobooks up
front, and their money is refunded less a rental fee when the item is
returned) as an example of this kind of system. The article also says
that Dynix is already working on such a system to be incorporated in
their upcoming software release ("Horizon 8").
