Using the f-bomb is still inappropriate on a professional listserv,
particularly when it's a personal attack, regardless of any other
provocation.

Really? John Creech posted a link that is essentially a personal attack

on me after I posted that I didn't want to talk about specifics. He 
posted a link to a decontextualized discussion that doesn't include my

opinion or perspective. This is one of the chief problems with 
Wikipedia. People supposedly know who I am, but I have no way of
finding 
out who these other users are unless they use their real names.

There is no accountability on Wikipedia. Anonymous users can post 
anything about people and it all gets archived.
