Link to a Bookmark in Microsoft Word

Is there a way to build an html link to a bookmark in a Microsoft Word
document that has been posted on the web?

I have been given a large Word document that I want to post to a
password controlled website.  I want to insert a number of bookmarks
into the Word document, and then be able to link to these bookmarks from
html files in the website.
