Wasn't it the late and VERY lamented Marvin Scilken who said that library users VOTE?

So many libraries have the word "Free" in their names - "Free Library of Philadelphia" and "Fresno Free Library" come immediately to mind - that among other things we need to remind the public exactly what's "free" about library services.  In the context today, it should mean "unfettered access to information and ideas."
