federated search tools

Hi all,

I've done the search in the archive regarding the use of the federated
search tools, but didn't find that much. There are quite a few in the market
now such as MetaLib, Webfeat, etc. What I'm particularly interested in are
the tools used in medium and small size public library settings. I would
like to hear your experience/commments/suggestions.
