Here's an interesting problem. I went to Google Scholar and put in
"library cataloguing" and got a great number of hits, many which didn't
seem terribly relevant. It turns out that they index the verso of title
pages, so this was picking up every book with a British CIP. I assume
you'd get a similar result if you did a search with one of the terms
being "copyright". So one problem with really really "full" full text
indexing is that there is no distinction between administrative
information and content.
