RELEASE OF REFTRACKER VERSION 3
 
 
PALM BEACH, NSW, Australia and Chevy Chase, MD, June 22, 2004 - Sydney-based
Altarama Systems and Services announced delivery today  of Version 3 of its
RefTracker Request Management System.  RefTracker is used by public,
academic, corporate, and government libraries and institutions on three
continents to receive, allocate, share, schedule, refer, answer, store,
search, and record reference as well as non-reference inquiries, both on-
and off-line.  This new version of RefTracker extends the concept of
reference request management by providing you customized design of all your
forms, by including and streamlining all request workflow processes, and by
integrating the standard tools reference staff use in receiving and
answering questions.
 
Linda Arret and Arthur Brady, principals of Altarama Information Systems,
the North American and European agent for the Australian company, will
present and discuss the newest features of RefTracker during a Sunday
afternoon work session at the summer ALA Conference in Orlando.  Invitees
include those with existing web-form email reference systems, and those
interested in learning more about request management systems in the context
of digital reference.  The work session is open to all conference attendees.
