[WEB4LIB] RSS feed problem; thin clients "jump" instead of refreshing, anyone tried this successfully?

Can we throttle back a bit and ask what the value is of a feed that
refreshes every two seconds, and also ponder animations that cannot be
disabled by end-users?  I looked at the FastBuzz page and my eyes began
swirling in my head. What is the objective here?
