You mean I shouldn't use the library management system we have? What would
you suggest I replace it with?
I am working to fix what I can fix.  The code generated on the fly is done
at the program level from what I can see and is then inserted by the server.
I also do not consider Ex Libris and its product ALEPH to be
"unprofessional."  I have brought the question to their attention.

Sorry, I find it hard to accept that this would be impossible.  If the
program outputs bad code, it is broken and you shouldn't use it.
W3C's validator is your tool against unprofessional software firms.
