another tactic-- Integrating Google Scholar with pa

I've made a first stab at this: a bookmarklet that works in Firefox and
IE and that does both tricks, the proxying and the openurl buttons. It
combines Art's code
(http://librarycog.uwindsor.ca:8087/artblog/librarycog/resources/proxy ,
with his permission) and mine. Still buggy (the problem with boldface at
the beginning of a journal title is still there, and it truncates
article titles in IE but not Firefox). It has to be localized in the
same way as the Firefox extension, by editing the javascript to insert
the values for your linkserver and proxy.

It wouldn't be hard to take the javascript out of my
googlescholaropenurl
Firefox extension and incorporate it into Art's bookmarklet, so that
you'd
get the proxied links AND the OpenURL button, usable in any major
browser...
