We recently changed our home page from:
http://dept.sccd.ctc.edu/cclib/default_backup.asp
[a page with links to just about every page in our site]

To:
http://dept.sccd.ctc.edu/cclib/
[focuses on research tools such as our library catalog and periodical
databases]

Our decision was primarily based on usage statistics from our web
server.
