For all you browser fans, Opera 7.0 has been officially released. This is
a ground-up rewrite with a new rendering engine and improved standards
support (especially for DOM operations; I'll let someone more knowledgeable
address their claims of better ECMAScript support). As always, Opera's
user interface has interesting, idiosyncratic features that you're not
going to see in other browsers; see under View/Style/User Mode for example.

Better support for HTML 2.0 also :-) as this is the first relatively major
commercial browser to roll out support for <LINK> relationships.
