LAMP servers (was Intranet software ..)

I don't believe Raymond was setting an example so much as stressing that he 
has a LAMP server without assuming everyone knew the acronym.

In the open source community, the Linux-Apache-MySQL-Perl/PHP/Python 
combination is held up to demonstrate that you can run a complete web 
server with database-driven sites, get very good performance, and use no 
proprietary software at all.  For those with their OS choices thrust upon 
'em, the "AMP" part runs on just about anything else, including Windows.
