[WEB4LIB] Jaws Web Page readers' comments?

At Boise State we use JAWS on one public machine that has earphones on
it.  There is at least one regular user of it, a blind young lady who
comes in with her guide dog frequently.

The same machine also has a scanner and software to read books to her.
This is much better than the old stand-alone Kurzweil we used in the
past.  The software is Ruby Open Book.

I've used both pieces of software and they both work well.  The
synthesized voice is easily understandable.  The book reader has the
easier job, since most books/articles are simply formatted, as opposed
to many web pages. Then we could get into badly designed web pages....
