Hello from D.C.

I just posted this news to the Resourceshelf and thought it might be of special
interest to some of you.

---

netLibrary is now offering an option (the subscribing library needs to purchase
an extra license) that allows a patron to check-out, download, and view content
offline. Material is in pdf and viewed with the Adobe eBook Reader. According to
the site, the reader offers several features including the ability to annotate
and bookmark. The reader also offers text-to-speech capabilities.

gary
