A new OHIONET Workshop

Are you Listening to your website? (Hands-On)

Do you understand the elements that are necessary to design useful,
efficient, and easy to maintain websites for libraries, archives and
historical societies? This workshop will focus on evaluating the content on
your site, adding to the ease of and making the site intuitive for the new
user. The workshop will also talk about designing for usability, making the
site easy to access for those with visual and physical disabilities as
suggested under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and Section 508 of
the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 

Goals:

*	 Elements necessary to design useful, efficient, and easy to
maintain websites  

*	 User needs for libraries, archives and historical societies 

*	How to present information for your users 

*	Understand what Usability is and what the ADA has to do with it. 

*	Test your site on Bobby and see what needs to be updated.
 

 Member Cost:$60
