Removing XP

Hi,

   I'm trying to remove XP from a new computer. The main problem I'm having is getting rid of the NTFS formatting. If anyone has suggestions, I'd be happy to here them. SinceI'm not sure this is a "list" topic, I'd be happy to take off-list replies.
