OK I *know* this post is 2 months old! ... but wanted to say that IMO
y'all have done a fine job with this. We have pieces of a similar service
built, also w/ mysQL/PHP, basically a proof-of-concept piece we call our
"Database Navigator" at http://chinstrap.lib.cwu.edu/go_online/search.php
By next fall, if we ever have time to get to it, we hope to do the same
thing you've done at ECU with our subj. guides. I don't remember hearing
much from the list when you originally posted this, and I just wanted you
to know that this is impressive work and I bet a great service for your
users.
