search engine for intranet and cd rom

Dear all,

I am looking for a search engine that indexes different kinds of files
format (pdf, word, html, etc. and db?).

The application would be used for an intranet and CD-ROM.

The user would do searching via an html interface.

Other useful functionalities :

management of accent, plural, lowercase, uppercase, multilingual. full text.
multiplatforms!!
