monitoring web page changes

I had been using NetMind's free Mind-It service to keep an eye on
publisher's websites, tracking the addition of new ejournals to their
offerings.  With the demise of the free service
<http://www.pumatech.com/mind-it_service/service.html>, I'm turning to the
collective wisdom of the Web4Lib community to find another avenue to,
hopefully, the same end.

Any techniques which you have found to be especially successful and free
would be greatly appreciated.
