... Yet (and I am sure Jacob agrees) necessary.  The problem with Web
sites is they give the illusion of life. If the people funding your site
are not working, and your physical doors are closed, it is imperative
that the Web site be "shuttered."  Anything less is misleading and
unfair to both your staff and your community.
