:Peter Brinkley's answer (excerpted below) is a good one--in those cases
:where someone's actually applying typographic design, not using a
:Dreamweaver (or Front Page?) default or just saying "Sans good. Serif
bad."

(waving hand) Walt, point of information:

There is no Dreamweaver "default" page, except for a blank page with
just some very rudimentary opening and closing html, body, and title
tags (and you can change, replace, or add alternatives for this blank
page). The default font for Dreamweaver (and for anything else in
Dreamweaver) is "none"--no font tag, heading, or whatever. The only
templates in Dreamweaver are those you create.

Perhaps you are thinking of Front Page... a completely different product
with an entirely different approach.
