[WEB4LIB] Re: PWB and javascript errors

I did have the "Disable script debugging" checked and
"Display a notification about every script error" unchecked and this
lessened the problem but it was still too much of a risk to go with PWB v1.x
given the numbers of PCs we are putting out and the wide geographical spread
of them (making support difficult). We've locked down IE pretty tightly
(with some help from your tipspage Andrew!) but there are still aspects of
PWB that it would be nice to have.
I hope people don't think I am knocking PWB. I have communicated directly
with Scott in the past and always found him immensely helpful. He has said
himself the fault lies not with PWB but with VB and IE combined.
I do wonder how many people will be able to go with V 2 of PWB given the
proposed charges. I have no problem with a charge being levied for the
development of something that clearly takes a lot of time to develop but
people in charge of purse strings may see IE6 for "free" and wonder just why
people wish to spend money on an alternative.
