There was a great deal of interest expressed in the results of the ejournal
use studies announced on these lists in March. I'm happy to report that the
presentations went well. ACRL has mounted the invited and contributed
papers on their website <http://www.ala.org/acrl/denver.html>, in addition
to selling copies of the complete, printed proceedings.
George Porter and Ed Sponsler conducted a study of electronic journal use
using click-through tracking technology. Questions examined include the
relationship between use of electronic journals and their print versions;
the use of table of contents websites for print journals and its impact on
document delivery and interlibrary loan. Both the contributed paper, as
submitted, and the slides from the presentation are available
<http://library.caltech.edu/publications/acrldenver/>.
Reports from the conference have been posted on the C&RL News website, Part
1 (May 2001) <http://www.ala.org/acrl/denver1.html>; Part 2 (June 2001)
