ColdFusion advice?

While we're talking about databases...

My library is seriously considering moving to ColdFusion, and I am
collecting information to bring to the Web committee.  If your institution
uses ColdFusion, I'd appreciate if you shared:

1.  Which Allaire products do you use?

2.  What database (Access, MySQL, etc) do you use?

3.  How did you handle the transition to CF?  Did you hire someone to
get the system running, or did a librarian do it?  Do you have any time
estimates for the ColdFusion end?

4.  What do you use CF for:  dynamically generated
e-resources pages?  personalized portals?  multifind search?
