I had a conversation with one of the sales people from OCLC at Computers in
Libraries.  I told them about how frustrating it is to us and our users to
use WorldCat and get all of these links to internet resources many of which
they can't access either because they are now gone or else are e-books that
are not part of our collection.  How many of you get ILL request for
websites because it shows a holding library?  I told the sales rep there
ought to be a way to prevent the display of resources that we can't possibly
get through ILL.  I am seriously wondering about removing links to WorldCat
from our webpages.  I am beginning to think that CORC has caused more
problems than it has solved.
