[WEB4LIB] Invitation: "Cataloging Internet Resources" Live Demo

I have been thinking about the OCLC effort to catalog the web using
librarians to do the work.

Does anyone else besides me feel a bit uneasy about this?  In effect, OCLC
will have the one and only "vetted" collection of links anywhere and would
then have a marketable product .. should one ever be needed ...

I just wonder if they are working on filtering technology as well ...
