St. Charles City-County Library District

Manager position available at a general-purpose, public library in the 
Harvester/St. Charles area. Responsible for managing the branch budget, 
daily operations and staffing of the branch.  Other duties include heavy 
public service responsibilities providing reference services using 
traditional and electronic sources, materials selection, adult programming, 
collection management including electronic information delivery resources, 
and providing library instruction in a variety of formats, especially for 
electronic resources. Work schedule includes day, evening and weekend hours.

Must have 3 years of relevant experience and an accredited Masters in 
Library Science.  Management skills preferred. Excellent benefits and 
salary: for MLS from $43,968 to $53,484; for MLS plus second masters from 
$49,452 to $60,156.

The St. Charles City-County Library District is a Hennen's top American 
library (Hennen's American Library Rating Index). The Library District is 
located just west of St. Louis, MO in one of the Midwest's fastest growing
