What increasing number of academics? What library technologists? Where are
the hard numbers?
We are moving to a new library system for the entire State University of New
York system. It is the Aleph 500 from Ex Libris. It will be running on a
Solaris platform using Unix (not) Linux). The clients used by staff are all
Windows based. Where are the hard numbers to support the statement about
libraries moving to open platforms?
