Reference/Instruction Librarian
Tenure track position.  Member of a team of five professional librarians in
a two year technical college library serving a diverse population of 2,500
students.  Responsibilities include:  managing the reference collection and
vertical file; participating fully in the library's bibliographic
instruction program through teaching classes, preparing handouts, and
utilizing technology to develop other instructional modules; providing
library services to the Norwich Campus located 35 miles from the main
campus.

Qualifications
Successful candidate will be a motivated professional with a commitment to
and aptitude for public services who will welcome the challenges of
technological advances and maximize opportunities to improve library
services.  MLS required.  Teaching experience and familiarity with
electronic database and internet searching are important.  Other relevant
experience is desirable.

Salary:		Commensurate with education and experience

Starting Date:	 August 2001
