How to keep up

I started out using Byte as my major source, if nothing else it was a great
catalog of who was selling what. Then InfoWorld took over as a major source
of information. During the 80's and early 90's, I could not miss an issue.
I even worried about Pammy. PC Magazine was a good fill in for some areas
and reading Scientific American gave me a better idea of technology in
general. Since I was in a science library, the IEEE journals and some
others (New Scientist, and even the New Yorker) kept me up to date. Or as
much as I needed.

However, InfoWorld does not review the same sort of products and the whole
field has shifted. I don't manage a network anymore, but take care of a web
page and help people in our library use their computers. It is getting
difficult to find a source of information that will help me solve the latest
questions I get about Microsoft office products, and my own about how to
manage and create a web page for our Intranet. This group is probably my
best source of information, even when I just lurk. I still like PC
magazine, but they have drifted (or I have) away from the same focus. There
used to be a time in the late 90's when I had to take every new issue to
work to try a few ideas out.

So, to sum up, what are the best sources for a person who manages a web page
and does computer support for a Windows NT system?

Is there another list(s) that supplements this one?

Thanks,

Gary
