A survey of the size of UK University home pages is available at
<http://www.ariadne.ac.uk/issue28/web-watch/>.

The survey used Netmechanic and Booby to report on the size of the pages
- and discovered inconsistencies between the two services due to
differences in processing (e.g. use of the robot exclusion protocol,
measuring external files, splash screens, etc.)

Is anyone aware of similar work for US University pages?

Brian
