Opera browser problems

There was some discussion on this list about Opera 5 when it was released in
December but I wondered about more recent experience. I have used it (now
v5.02) predominantly in recent weeks and apart from occasional problems of
fonts, tables and line spacing not displaying correctly it has worked well.
However I have had a number of problems this week accessing bibliographic
and other databases. In one I couldn't logon, another didn't seem to search
correctly and a third wouldn't display subsequent pages of references. In
the latter case the supplier - CSA - tested their service with Opera and
made it work, but even with their suggested cache settings I couldn't get it
work for me.
The general answer I got was that only Netscape and IE are supported so you
should use one of those, as indeed I can. However, any library thinking
about using it as a standard should be aware of likely problems. (Richard
Wiggins asked on 8 December if libraries were using it in large numbers -
any response?)
Have others had the same difficulties?
