Netscape displays scripts instead running them

Hello!

I am trying to launch Kixtart scripts hosted on an Apache server from a Web
browser (on Windows). Something seems to be missing in my setup for the
scripts, when accessed using Netscape (4.7), are displayed in the window
rather than being opened. This happens after I have been through these
configuration steps:

On the Apache server, I added to the httpd.conf the string
"AddType application/octet-stream .kxt"

On Windows, I made a file association between the extension "kxt" and the
application kix32.exe, specifying "content type = octet-stream".

With MSIE, the scripts are run perfectly well. With Netscape, as I said,
the script content is simply displayed in the browser's Window. I looked
under Preferences/Applications and everything seems normal (the application
configuration seems correctly obtained from the Windows' registry).

I have also verified the header transmitted by Apache and the content type
is fine (Content-Type: application/octet-stream).

Would some of you have any insight regarding this problem?

Thanks...
