The problem we are facing is with "roaming profiles" they work great
for the most part. But from time to time they get corrupted and
requires administrator to login to the machine and physically deleting
the folder (login used, to log in) representing the cached version of
the roaming profiles.
All of our profiles are mandatory and pre-configured roaming
profiles. So we are not really worried about changing the profile on
the server, which would never happened. But we simply want to delete
the profiles from the local machines once the user logs off.
Under Active Directory we have selected the option that "deletes" the
roaming profile. The option is under "Computer
Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon". "Delete cached
copies of roaming profile" is "enabled".
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Are there any
options that we must "enable" or "disable" in-order for the "delete
cached ...." option to work. Has anyone else encountered the same
problem. If yes, were you able to resolve it or not.
Also there is one more route that we can go by, that is using a
utility called "DELPROF.exe". This utility can be found in Windows 2000
Resource Kit. Has anyone used this utility and how much success have
they had.

Thanks

P.S: Your help is appreciated beyond imagination. Also please try to
give us as detailed instructions as possible. :) :)
