Hi,
I have just started a subscription to "mindit" (http://mindit.netmind.com/)
based on a previous messages from web4lib. I haven't used it enough to
determine whether or not it works as promised. But so far I must say that
setting up and adding the links I need monitored was very convenient. It
also has the advantage of being a free software. I use it on a static html
site: www.scrantonlibrary.com and we have roughly 500 links to check
We have been using an antiquated version of LinkBot to check our links.
While we know we need to get a newer version we would like to investigate
other software that is available.
We would like to know what type of site you have (static HTML page or
dynamic databased system), how many links (approximately), and what software
you are using.
Any response is greatly appreciated, and if others would like, I will
summarize for the list.
Thanks.
