Are these sites ones that are abandoned intentionally or just people too
slow to renew their domain names?  I am getting really la little leery about
pointing to any site not run by a library or an educational institution or
government.  Too many  people do not realize the impact they can have if
they give up a personal project or are just careless about renewing domain
names.
