Laura,
I linked to your page with my G4. In Netscape, the page is less atractive than with IE, but I wouldn't call it horrible. i don't think we're at the point yet when we can expect a page to look the same with all browsers and platforms.

Colleagues,
I'm trying to recreate this design: http://libweb.sdsu.edu/ in text
instead of an image, for obvious reasons. Not being a layout whiz, I'm
having trouble (to say the least) getting it to look good.
Here's my best attempt thus far: http://sunwebdevel.sdsu.edu/front5.html
. It's got a slightly different header and central image. So, it looks
pretty good, though not awesome, on every screen resolution of every PC
I've tried, but it looks *horrible* on a Mac.
Do I need Golive to do a layout this fancy? Tables within tables? Am I
missing something simple?
I've perused Webmonkey and a few other resources for tips, and haven't
found any obvious solutions.
Any tips would be gratefully accepted and I'd be delighted to summarize for
the reading audience if there is any interest.
Thanks for your time,
Laura
