Converting FrontPage 2000 to DreamWeaver 3

I am at a loss as to why people are opposed to using the site management
parts of FrontPage and Dreamweaver.  The "proprietary" code is stored as a
comment and does not cause any problems witht the browser.  Some might call
it code bloat.  I do not.  Am I missing something here?
