This sounds very bizarre. What error message do you get? What version of IE
and Netscape? How much RAM on the computer? Can you run either browser with
some other piece of modern bloatware OK? Have you tried re-installing
either or both browsers?
You should be able to go to Win 2000 as you suggest, but I wouldn't feel
certain that'll solve the problem on this particular computer necessarily.
Have you informed Microsoft? And Janet Reno? :-)
