Apologies, I replied in haste last week.
Said another way, in my experience, the "tiff"
files that Prospero will convert to .pdf need
to have been created by Ariel. I've experimented
with trying to convert Photoshop and other product
tiff files to .pdf with Prospero, and it never worked.
Additionally, I have found that the latest Adobe Acrobat
reader (4.?) downloaded from Adobe's web site works very
well for reading Prospero's .pdfs--again, in my
experience.
