Reader's Club (http://www.readersclub.org), the Public Library of Charlotte
& Mecklenburg County's readers' advisory site has recently added several
enhancements and services to assist patrons in locating good reads.
* A Young Adult section has been added to the site, providing readers
with reading recommendations in a variety of categories.
* Reading interest categories have been expanded allowing users to
search and select from dozens of sub-category listings.
* A new service allows users to write and submit their own reviews of
their favorite books for inclusion in the site.
* Or, if preferred, users can simply add their own comments to reviews
that they find within Readers Club.
In addition to monthly features ( this month its Fantasy) the site also
offers a Video Corner which compares and contrasts movie version of books
with their predecessor. Next month Reader's Club will celebrate it's 2nd
birthday along with its 500th staff review.
With these new enhancements, we welcome any feedback or other suggestions
you may also have in improving the site.
