Netscape Woes

After upgrading a Win95 machine from Netscape Communcator 4.07 to 4.76 
Netscape fails to launch.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.  
I turned off all the other programs during the install and have tried 
installing to another folder.

When the Netscape icon is clicked I hear some HD activity but the program 
doesn't run.  When I look at the task manager I don't see Netscape.  I've 
changed the display settings with no luck.

Any insights or suggestions are welcome.
