Apologies in advance for this novice and non-work related question: I am
looking into buying my mother an I-Opener from Netpliance.
www.netpliance.com I read a product review which was written in January 2000
that states: "pages that use the Java programming language won't work [using
the I-Opener browser]." I don't compose web pages but this seems like it
might pose a problem. I am wondering how commonly Java is used and whether
it is becoming more popular. I don't want my mom's surfing experience to be
frustrating. Any and all comments on this potential problem and I-Opener in
general are much appreciated.
Thanks!
Heidi
