Network Printing Systems

At Central Michigan University, we are interested in implementing
network printing in our new building. We currently charge students for
printing using a smart card system in a non-networked and wish to
continue to do so. We are interested in outsourcing the management and
maintenance of the system to a third party vendor. It seems that there
are basically two types of systems that will work best with the type of
smart card that we use and we are interested in hearing any comments
that you might have about either of them as well as any experiences you
may have had with these two vendors.

1) Uniprint System, Vendor: Icon

2) OCS System, Vendor: XCP
