Well, to balance the ledger then:

The Llama Book ("Learning Perl" 2nd edition) never leaves my desk.  It
may be under a pile of papers, but it's literally always within arm's
reach.  Same goes for Nielsen's "Designing Web Usability"--I don't refer
to it as often, but I always have it around.
