NetMeeting

I'm trying to organize a distance instruction/reference service using
NetMeeting. I was hoping that some kind souls could throw in their
opinion on the following points, as the archive didn't answer all my
questions.
1. I've managed to get Internet Explorer to open a NetMeeting conference
using both "callto://" and linking to a .cnf file. Has anyone managed to
get Netscape to open a conference using any method? I realize Netscape
usually doesn't play nice with Microsoft, but y'all out there never cease
to amaze me with your ingenuity.
2. Is using the browser to open a conference even a good idea? I want
this service to be easy for our users to access, but I don't want some
script kiddie taking down the whole building. I can't seem to get a ULS
server to work dependably, so the links I've been playing with go directly
to an IP address.
3. General opinions from people out there using NetMeeting. Is it
working, are users able to figure it out, etc. I'd also like to hear any
horror stories on why I shouldn't use NetMeeting. I've looked at a few
other products, but I'm open to suggestion still for other products.
Thanks ever so much,
Stacey L. Knight
