Just as a follow-up to earlier threads about Napster and other sharing
protocols...
Here's one attempt to get the music file genie back in the bottle: a sort of
bizarre encryption scheme passed on keystroke rhythms:

Apparently, this method is already being used in the Net Nanny filter
software. (Does it work? Does it work better for kids?)
At any rate, once you get access to the music file and output it via your
sound device, what's to prevent saving, storing and sharing an unencrypted
copy of it?
