Netscape problems: launching batch files and left mouse button

I've been working on the same problem (launching databases) and I've
created a  locally-mounted webpage (so I can do annotations, use notes,
etc.). You have to create a .pif file for each .bat file and link to the
.pif file. Please email me if you need pointers on creating the .pif
files.
